Job DescriptionRochester Midland Corporation is seeking anexperienced Water Treatment Sales Managerto oversee existing territory and manage sales team in the Greater San Francisco area.This candidate will focus on developing new opportunities in the Class "A" Commercial Real Estate Market, HealthCare industry, Colleges/Universities, and light Industrial accounts. Strong leadership and coaching qualities are required in order to be successful in this role. West coast travel a must.A skilled water treatment sales professional with excellent leadership experience is required. Rochester Midland is committed to developing sustainable solutions for health, productivity and the environment.Job RequirementIn this role as the Sales Manager you will be responsible for: Increasing sales for RMC's Water Energy chemical programs within the Metro NYC/LI and Northern NJ Territory by direct selling to current and future customers. Developing district sales by managing, training and supporting the district sales team. Communicating to the sales team and customers a complete understanding of each of RMC's products, pricing, applications and benefits. Develops positive relationships by maintaining continuing contact with key customer accounts in the territory. Responsible for recruiting, leading and developing team members Approves pricing and proposals from reporting reps on all products for customers. Accountable for overall territory profitability. Ensures individual sales reps and service techs in the district are trained for job success.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or commensurate applicable experience. 3-5 years sales experience; Direct Water Treatment Chemical Sales is required 2-3 years management experience; preferably chemical sales managementCompetencies: Team Development Managing through systems Customer vendor relations & Solutions Focus Organizational, planning & priority setting skills Problem solving Selling skills Product knowledge Strong Listening, Verbal & Written communication skills Cross functional collaboration Staff & resource management Analytical skills Financial judgement Attention to detail & decision quality Developing others Ability to work with people at all organizational levelsWe're an equal opportunity employer.
