About the Role New York Pilates seeks a dynamic and seasoned Sales Lead to spearhead our sales efforts. As a pivotal member of our team, you'll lead our Sales Team, propel revenue growth, and elevate the overall customer sales journey. We're in search of a candidate who excels in fast-paced environments, has a proven track record of success as a salesperson, and possesses a strategic, growth-oriented mindset. While ideally based in NYC, we welcome applicants from the Hamptons and remote locations. Reporting directly to the NYP Leadership team, this is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the dynamic world of pilates sales. Responsibilities Sales Management: Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets. Implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth. CRM Management : Oversee the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer data. Utilize CRM insights to identify target customers and develop personalized selling strategies. Strategic Selling: Develop and implement strategic selling approaches to engage prospective clients and convert leads into sales. Customize sales pitches and offerings based on customer preferences and needs. Private Selling via CRM: Leverage the CRM platform for private selling opportunities, maximizing customer engagement and conversion rates. Utilize CRM features to track sales performance and optimize selling techniques. Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation activities, networking, and strategic partnerships. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective lead generation campaigns. Competencies Sales Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a sales team, set clear goals, provide guidance and support, and drive performance to achieve sales targets. Strategic Thinking: Capacity to develop and implement strategic sales plans, identify opportunities for growth, analyze market trends, and adapt selling strategies accordingly. CRM Management: Proficiency in managing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, including data entry, maintenance, and analysis to optimize sales processes and customer engagement. Customer Focus: Dedication to understanding customer needs, preferences, and behaviors to provide personalized selling experiences and build strong, long-lasting relationships. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate sales pitches, negotiate deals, and interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, track performance metrics, identify trends, and derive actionable insights to enhance sales effectiveness and drive business growth. Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying challenges, developing creative solutions, and overcoming obstacles to achieve sales objectives and deliver exceptional customer service. Results Orientation: Drive and determination to meet and exceed sales targets, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and driving continuous improvement. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, customer preferences, and business priorities, while maintaining focus on sales goals and objectives. Requirements Proven experience in sales management and strategic selling, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team Proficiency in CRM systems and experience in CRM management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights for sales optimization Passion for fitness and wellness, with a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle Perks and Benefits We are building an A+ team with talented individuals. Competitive Compensation 💸 Things we take into account when calculating the compensation are global averages per skillset, your local cost of living, your skills, and your experience. This role will be at a base salary of $80,000 to $110,000. Paid Time Off 🏖 Our teams work hard, and we never want burnout to happen! So we are here to create a balanced environment. Just make sure you provide enough notification to your team members, so we can balance the workload of your fellow teammates, while you are away! As a member of the NYP HQ Team, you will receive 2 weeks of approved paid vacation (80 hours) and 1 week of paid personal days (40 hours) annually. In addition, we acknowledge 5 paid holidays. Tuition Assistance 📚 We love to keep knowledge at top of our minds, and want our employees to be empowered to learn! So we offer a quarterly stipend that can be used towards Continuing Education $500 per quarter, up to $2,000/year. Can be used for internal Continuing Education opportunities only. You have 24 months post accrual to use this reward. Medical and 401k 🏥 NYP will payout what would be an equivalent of up to 50% contribution directly into the paychecks of employees who are eligible and choose to enroll in medical, dental, and vision benefits with NYP.
