Requisition ID 30642 Category Sales/Business Development Position Type Full-Time Overview The Sales Development Executive will function as a Support Production Printing Specialist to the Sales Team. Ensures achievement of the Regions Plan for the Monochrome, Color Cut Sheet and Continuous Feed Production product families. This is sales support role for regional sales.This position will cover the Northeast territory from Maryland to Maine and Ohio. Responsibilities -Ensures achievement of the Region Plan for the Monochrome and Color Cut Sheet Production product families.- Validates the 90-day forecast for these products by sales rep and prepare accurate forecast (minimum 85% monthly accuracy).- Act as subject matter and competitive expert.- Support team members and drives the sales process to reach plan achievements.- Supports the managers in driving a high level of prospecting activities.- Provides sales support necessary to meet adequate level of sales cycles and support Sales Reps' selling efforts.- Supports team members sales cycle for key, multiple unit prospects including key direct sales activities (e.g. key customer presentations, demonstrations, proposals and closing the business).- Ensures sales representatives are fully trained and proficient in performing steps in sales cycle.- Participates in all critical presentations and give key demonstrations as required.- Be a Team member, interacting with other Region Specialists on an ongoing basis to develop and exchange best practices and creative ideas in driving sales.- Supports team members in building customer confidence in Canon's and the product offerings Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 7 years of related experience.-Experience selling Production Printing products.- Knowledge of Color and Color Sales Experience.- Production Inkjet Experience a +.- Ability to motivate and support sales reps activity without direct management authority.- Excellent oral and written communication skills.- Skilled at giving powerful, convincing presentations and demonstrations.- Independent, self-motivated, self-starter professional with ability to multi-task effectively, work well with others, quickly establish rapport with co-workers and customers, and have good credibility with high-level decision makers.- Possess excellent sales skills with very strong objection-handling and closing ability.- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and proficiency with numbers.- Must be available to travel when needed. 40% travel with some over night stays- Valid Drivers License requiredIn accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated base salary for this role if filled in New York or Jersey: $73,930 - $110,720.this role is elgiible for a transportation allowance and for commissions under the terms of an applicable plan.
