Home: based and reporting to the Sales Director, successful candidates will liaise extensively with the team of Technical Sales Engineers overseeing the sale of products and services to a diverse range of customers across the UK (and will ideally be based in the Bradford, Leicester or East Midlands, Bristol and Chelmsford areas). Tasked with identifying commercially beneficial and longstanding business opportunities with both new and existing markets and clients within your region, core responsibilities for these varied and challenging Sales and Business Development Manager roles will include (but not be limited to): Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities. Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients and maximising business opportunities with them Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients. Attending conferences and events to develop relationships with industry partners and keeping abreast of competitor and sector developments and trends as they may arise Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards achieving and exceeding them Learning and developing your strong understanding of the companys product.
