JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following. Instructions: :Manages daily production needs for the equipment over a 24:48:hour period. :Creates and maintains daily schedule to balance efficiencies and customer needs. :Schedules accordingly to corporate guidelines and inventory goals. :Maintains work in process (WIP) inventories to maintain a minimum inventory level. :Monitors slow moving material. :Requisitions raw paperboard and pallets. :Maintains raw material inventories to maximize inventory turns and remain operational. :Ensures scheduling meets shipping commitments to all customers. :Advises customer service of any unplanned delays in shipping commitments. :Confers with department supervisors to determine progress of work, to provide information on scheduling changes, and to schedule preventative maintenance on equipment. :Reviews and communicates production commitments to shipping. :Researches, complies, and prepares reports as directed. :Ensures plants compliance to 3rd party Functional Control / Pre:Requisite program requirements including HACCP, SQF, and other customer:mandated programs. :Conducts annual training in HACCP, GMPs, Food defense, and Allergens. :Provides support in the plants Lean activities. :Shares an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging Internationals good reputation in our relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies, and to act consistently with our core values: Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork. EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS: :Bachelors degree in related field, preferred :Excellent written and verbal communication skills :Familiar with AIB / HACCP / SQF compliance standards :Familiar with Food defense compliance standards :Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet research skills :Visual Color Discrimination, the ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of colors Required Experience At Graphic Packaging International, we produce the paper cup that held your coffee this morning, the basket that transported those bottles of craft beer you enjoyed last weekend, and the microwave tray that heated your gourmet meal last night.
