Join our growing team where helping to feed the world is more than a job - it''s a purpose we live every day!This is a full-time role, providing employees with some of the best benefits in the industry.Operate pallet jack equipment to move pallets and product from one place to another while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.**Walk-in interviews are welcome**Monday-Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pmFriday 8:00am - 12:00pm1400 Los Palos StreetLos Angeles, CA 90023KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUse pallet jack equipment to move the pallet to the scheduled door to shipMove pallets from the inbound dock door to locations inside the warehouse to be put awayFind products requested in work ordersChange over pallets for picking, visually review items for damages or flaws; document and report damages to lead/supervisorConfirm all pallets being hauled into the warehouse or dock doors are wrapped to the topADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWrap pallets using a wrap machine, based on locationInvert pallets using a pallet inverter, based on locationMay work with other machinery and material handling equipmentMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)Basic math skills may be required depending on facilityAbility to understand instructions in Country''s official language or as defined by Lineage LogisticsAbility to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gearMust be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if neededMust be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud LLWH Why Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
