Compensation: This position offers competitive compensation in the form of: Percentage of Gross Margin of sales sold, a base annual salary (paid weekly), and compelling bonus opportunities. Position Description: At Creative Solar USA, our customer satisfaction-focused Roofing Consultants recognize that every homeowner and situation is different, and this specialized team is dedicated to providing the best systems for our customers' needs; oftentimes, this means handling roofing and restoration work for our clients in order to help them envision and ultimately install the best solar system that suits their situation. This will require the Consultant to learn about the unique interests, goals, and expectations of our prospective clients in order to best match those requirements with the most appropriate roofing solutions available, enabling customers to ultimately 'go solar' and provide the perfect, tailored fit for their home or business. With a passion for expanding renewable energy, all of our Roofing Consultants recognize the perfect opportunity expanding into the roofing market will provide to pave the way for solar energy and solar business, and they have a drive to succeed and grow while representing the integrity of Creative Solar USA in every relationship they strengthen or sale they close.This position will require a comfort with roofing inspections and operating upon a roof. All inspections done by Roofing Consultants are required to be done safely and all roofing restorations are intended to deliver value, safety, and peace of mind. Responsibilities: Some of the key responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to): •Roofing inspections with existing clients that ultimately lead to tailored sales of restoration and services, seeking further opportunities for solar growth down the line where possible •Expansion of the Residential market with emphasis on (but not limited to) the Georgia market. •Provide customers and prospective clients with consultation services (including but not limited to): roofing and other restoration needs.•Advise clients of Creative Solar offerings and set expectations around products, services, system performance, project timelines, payment schedules, and long-term project impacts.•Report all sales activities and communications with prospective and existing clients in company contact management systems (CRM)•Maintain attention to detail and a commitment to improving knowledge of roofing technology along with a continued basis of the other offerings of Creative Solar, including: Solar PV, Energy Storage, and related company services (ie: electrical services, EV chargers etc)•Provide accurate weekly reporting of sales activity in designated reporting forms•Finalize sales and facilitate deposit payments, provide thorough documentation for all finalized sales as required in "Project Turn Over" SOP to management for approval.•Respond to internal and customer requests in a timely, professional, and accurate manner •Ensure all roofing and restoration projects assigned are promptly, honestly, and thoroughly evaluated based on industry-best practices while keeping with the client's self-interest.•Maintain an accurate and thorough schedule (available via company calendar to management and coworkers)•Maintain positive and productive relationships with existing and prospective clients, striving to develop person to person (P2P) referral business•Attend public events/promotion and outreach activities on behalf of the company•Assist inside-sales activities as needed (ex: cold-calling, client screenings, warranty packets)•Assist company marketing activities as needed (ex: blogs, soliciting client testimonials or reviews)•Maintain key communication across departments for all activities and duties to ensure smooth transitions of workflow•Maintain positive relationships with all Creative Solar USA personnel, design team, contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, utility companies, and all applicable municipal representatives.•Occasional travel within GA and neighboring states Required Skills/Abilities: ●Safety knowledge and the ability to conduct roofing inspections with accuracy, efficiency, and underneath OSHA guidelines●Clear verbal and written communication skills with the key ability to execute a thought and/or convey a complicated/technically convoluted idea in simple terms ●A detail-oriented mind-set with strong analytical/problem-solving skills●Ability to multi-task, troubleshoot, and communicate solutions to customers and fellow employees effectively and efficiently●Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills focused on the client experience●An aptitude and hunger for understanding new technology and the desire to learn●A proven ability to meet deadlines and expectations while balancing multiple projects through effective time management and organization. ●A strong self-motivation driven by results●A passion for closing sales●Intermediate Google Suites (or Microsoft Office equivalent) proficiency, including: excel, word, outlook, and powerpoint. ●Strongly Preferred: Field or classroom experience in roofing, restoration, or solar energy/related technology Education and Experience: ●Required: 2+ Years related experience in sales or roofing and restoration (roofing and restoration preferred)●Required: OSHA training or willingness to obtain and maintain certificates upon hiring to ensure safe business practices ●Technical Sales certificates (or willingness to obtain and maintain certificates upon hiring) ●Preferred: A Bachelor's degree in related field (Some examples include: Business, Sales & Marketing, Applied Technology, or other related fields)● Required: Driver's License Non-Physical Job Requirements: •Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel•Must have the capability and accessibility to use remote work technology of which the company will provide access, including (but not limited to) Zoom and Google Chats.
