Roofing Repair Technician

Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofing Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in different roofing systems (but primarily steep slopes-shingles) and have a proven track record of effectively repairing and maintaining roofs. If you are a reliable, detail-oriented professional with a passion for ensuring the safety and durability of roofs, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: --- Track and maintain inventory of roofing materials --- Employ hand and power tools to measure and cut materials --- Assemble roofs, vents, and vapor barriers that protect homes and businesses from weather conditions --- Treat roof surfaces with coatings of bitumen, caulk, and cement --- Review and understand blueprints Roof Repairs --- Inspect roofs to identify damage, leaks, or other issues --- Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of roofing materials, including shingles and metal roofing --- Replace damaged or deteriorated roofing components, such as shingles, flashing, and/or vents Diagnosis and Problem-Solving: --- Diagnose the cause of roofing problems and develop effective repair solutions --- Ensure that repairs are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards Safety and Compliance: --- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment --- Comply with local building codes and regulations during repairs and installations Documentation: --- Maintain accurate records of repair work, materials used, and customer interactions Customer Service: --- Communicate with customers professionally, explaining repair options and providing cost estimates Qualifications: --- Must have valid driver's license --- We prefer candidates with general construction experience --- Apprenticeship in roofing is required --- High school diploma or GED required --- Strong communication skills are required --- Roofing or General construction experience is required --- Valid driver's license is required --- Great balance, and ability to lift heavy materials and tools is required About Company: We are a family-owned and operated company that specializes in insurance damage claims for HOA/multi-family projects.
