Responsibilities:• Estimate time, labor, materials, and other costs to determine the overall cost for projects.• Examine specifications, blueprints, proposals, and other documents to understand the project as a whole.• Prepare estimates, written proposals, and budgets.• Visit job sites to obtain all necessary takeoff information as well as get contracts signed.
