Road Crew Member: The Town of Marlboro, Vermont is accepting applications for a road crew member. Knowledge required of the operation of a variety of light construction equipment including pick-ups, dump trucks, snowplows, sanders, salt trucks, jackhammers, chainsaws, weed-whackers, loaders, light rollers and road rakes. Other duties include cleaning ditches and culverts, installing culverts, posts, guard rail posts, and street signs, brush cutting, equipment maintenance, and pothole patching, as well as any other duties as assigned by the Road Foreman, and /or Select Board. This position requires a current CDL and all applicants must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, as well as random drug and alcohol screening throughout employment. Also necessary is the ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends due to weather and other factors. A willingness to abide by safety rules and regulations is expected.
