RESPONSIBILITIES: The Road and Service 1 and 2 is responsible for cleaning and servicing both buses and facilities. He/she is generally a helper for either Service and Road Personnel or Mechanics. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES The Road and Service Person 1 and 2 will perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to: Fueling and washing of vehicles Servicing of buses and minor repairs. Road calls to assist with bus repairs Service/cleaning of facilities as required Perform other related tasks as directed QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma Must be able to obtain a CDL driver's license, or currently possess a current CDL. Ability to read and understand service and maintenance manuals Follow written and verbal directions Demonstrate mechanical ability and aptitude for learning Good past work experience or academic/technical school skills and performance Must be able to lift 25 lbs. This entry-level position is designed to begin the career path for the position of Mechanic within LANTA. LANTA is an equal opportunity employer.
