Each of our employees is committed to uphold our tradition of care, quality, and passion through food, and together, we foster an environment where we can all make contributions that matter-from our manufacturing plants to our office locations and everywhere in-between.How you will make contributions that matter... * Attend scheduled shift regularly and punctually and able to fulfill all required duties. * Focus on customer satisfaction and brand integrity by adhering to and promoting company policies and procedures, including: * Employee Health & Safety * Food safety * Product Quality * Productivity * Safe and efficient set-up, operation and tear-down of processing equipment; striving to minimize loss of product. * Abide by make recipes, target moistures and quality standards for cheeses produced ensuring consistency, quality, and safety. * Strive to ensure production targets and goals are achieved according to schedule; rotating through all departmental positions as instructed. * Adhere to FIFO rotation procedures of product and departmental ingredients including silo inventory. * Operate and monitor pasteurizer according to regulations. * Operate and monitor reverse osmosis unit to obtain the desired protein and solids levels * Operate heat treat, cooling plates and milk separator * Maintain the work area, including general housekeeping, to ensure a safe and efficient environment. * Perform routine quality checks to ensure product meets required specifications (i.e. temperature, moisture, coding/identification, etc.); documenting all verification actions. * Assist fellow teammates in reaching their full potential by promoting a culture of team work through demonstrating, teaching, reviewing, and providing guidance. * Effectively communicate with department, plant and company personnel to ensure safe and effective departmental operations and processes. * Neatly and accurately complete departmental checklists, verifications and other paperwork, as required. * Operation of C.I.P. and C.O.P. systems. Sanitize production equipment within the specified guidelines. * Practices and enforces good manufacturing and health and safety practices and continually ensures the quality of the product. * Sanitation of production equipment within the specified guidelines. * Perform other duties as assignedYou are best suited for the role if you... * High School Diploma or equivalent. * 1+ years of demonstrated work experience within the food industry is preferred. * Ability to work scheduled hours with overtime to be expected. Schedules are determined by production and staffing needs and therefore may vary. * Committed to food safety/quality and customer satisfaction. * Valid Wisconsin Pasteurizer Operator License, or the ability to obtain (training paid for and provided by Saputo). Must receive within 6 months of placement (training paid for and provided by Saputo). * Valid Bulk Milk Sampler License, or the ability to obtain (training paid for and provided by Saputo). * Certification as an industry analyst for testing antibiotics (training paid for and provided by Saputo). * Maintain good attendance and promptness when reporting to work. * Reliable, honest, and respectful. * Ability to multi-task and self-direct/self-motivate * Accuracy and attention to detail. * Committed to food safety/quality and customer satisfaction. * Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully, both verbally and non-verbally. * Strong work character with ability to work with other team members as well as individually. * Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes, but not limited to: standing/walking on concrete, noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, and humid), routine bending/stooping/twisting/pushing/pulling, lifting 50 lbs., climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment throughout shift. * Working with sanitation chemicals, wearing approved personal protective equipment and following approved chemical handling procedures. * Values that align with the Saputo culture: Efficiency through Simplicity, Family Environment, Ownership and Commitment, Hands on Approach, Passion.We support and care for our employees by providing them with... * Development opportunities that enhance you career fulfillment * Meaningful compensation & benefits that help you care for your family * Opportunities to contribute to your community and enhance the lives of others through Saputo productsPay Range: $23.50 to $24.50Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, educations, skills and training .Saputo is among the top three cheese producers in the USA and one of the largest producers of extended shelf-life and cultured dairy products.
