POSITION PURPOSE Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Proficiency in the English language is required for performance of duties. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduate of a School of Professional Nursing Experience: Previous RN Experience Preferred Licenses/Certificates: Current RN License in the State of Florida, Current BLS and ACLS certifications WORKING CONDITIONS Works in a clean, ventilated, well lighted, heated/air conditioned building PHYSICAL ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS Sitting: (Occasionally) Walking: (Continuously) Standing: (Continuously) Bending: (Frequently) Squatting:(Occasionally) Climbing:(Occasionally) Kneeling:(Occasionally) Twisting:(Occasionally) Lifting (0-50lbs): (Frequently) Lifting (50+ lbs): (Frequently) Carrying (0-50lbs):(Occasionally) Carrying (50+):(Occasionally) Pushing (0-300 lbs): (Frequently) (Occasionally= 1-33%) (Frequently= 24-66%) (Continuously= 67-100%) VISUAL AND HEARING REQUIREMENTS Must be able to see with corrective eye wear Must be able to hear clearly with assistance May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases. May be in contact with patients in a wide variety of circumstances. Able to handle emergency or crisis situations. Occasionally subject to irregular hours.
