Here’s what you will do as a Legacy on College Hill RN|LPN: Utilize the nursing process to assess resident care plans, implement interventions and evaluate outcomes related to nursing careAssist with team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans; assess and document residents’ condition and nursing needs; assign team members who have the capabilities and qualifications to meet residents’ needsImplement physician’s orders; administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special testsProven ability to communicate effectively and positively with staff, residents and family membersNotifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessaryManages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and proceduresBasic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company softwareMust be capable of maintaining regular attendanceDocument treatments as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulationsCoordinate nursing care of residents scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departmentsRecord and report observations and reactions regarding residentsPerform additional duties as assigned Location: Legacy on College Hill, Wichita, Kansas Shifts: Various Shifts Available, and PRN If you have these qualifications, we’d love to chat: Valid RN license in the State of KansasGraduate of an accredited RN School of NursingMinimum of 2 years of nursing experience OR equivalent of education and experience Apply now: Legacy on College Hill's Talent Acquisition Team can’t wait to chat with you.
