JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a Mid-Level Information Assurance Manager to join the Griffon Aerospace Security Team located in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate will support security activities/programs within the NISP environment and assist the FSO / Security Manager with daily execution of corporate and program security functions. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location during our posted hours. There is no relocation benefit for this position. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) RESPONSIBILITY Utilization of DoD eMass AND NISP eMass daily. Griffon has 3 systems being managed across the 2 platforms Provide RMF program support required to obtain, support, and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals for IT systems, applications, and networks Prepare and deliver the documentation, technical data, and computer data needed for the submission of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) documentation in support of RMF activities Manage and complete eMASS records for each system and manage those through the RMF process Work with the technical security team to identify, fix, and provide information regarding resolving vulnerabilities, configuration settings, and computer incidents Provide standard support for processes, investigations, and maintenance of system accreditation. Identify where systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Provide recommendations for protecting networks, workstations, servers, and IT assets. Involved in conducting audits to ensure information systems security policies and procedures are implemented as defined in security plans and best practices Support the formal testing requirements through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports Involved in passive evaluations (compliance audits) and/or active evaluations (vulnerability assessments) Assists in the execution of Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements Assists with Government Security Investigations (e.g., collects and analyzes data, writes reports and interviews) on personnel, processes, and situations to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements Assist the FSO with daily execution of duties. Provide Program COMSEC support for sites through meeting attendance and documentation review and generation Supports enterprise level activities, supporting teams that create security relevant products for use by all of Griffon Aerospace. Process collateral security as defined in 32 CRF Part 117 REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) - (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) This position requires the candidate to have Level I IAM Certification IAW DoD 8570.01 - verify your certification here: https://public.cyber.mil/wid/cwmp/dod-approved-8570-baseline-certifications/ - If you do not meet IAM Level I, you will not be considered for employment 3+ years of experience with National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM) and in NISP related programs 2+ years of experience in maintaining RMF documentation in eMass 1+ year of experience in government industry and/or DoD, NSA, or SCI COMSEC account management (Preferred but not mandatory) BA/BS + 6 years of experience; Master's +4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience with professional certifications.
