About the Position Ideally candidate would be willing to work out of our office in the San Antonio area. Revit in 5D is the goal - geometry + time + money info (6D sustainability long term) AutoCAD would be a plus but not required Open to internship but really looking for long term talent to build around Open to work visa if the candidate is the right fit. Principle Duties and Responsibilities · Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to generate rapid estimate models. · Identify, communicate and collaborate with structural and design team on feasibility, challenges and gaps in information required to generate estimate models. · Evaluate alternate studies quickly in parallel models for value engineering or improved efficiency opportunities. · Export and schedule model-based data for accurate estimation of project material and labor cost. · Manage supplier quotes and evaluate them for lead times and qualifications particular to project. · Review total estimate to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to formal quotation. · Review comparison of estimated and actual cost as projects complete. · Research and promote continuous improvement in developing more efficient estimating methods through BIM and automated software. · Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical behavior when representing the company. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong math skills including algebra, geometry, and basic arithmetic Revit Ability to navigate specifications and plans Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects Ability to handle multiple assignments at once Knowledge of the latest building codes Close attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management , mathematics, architecture, or a similar field is required 5+ years of applicable estimating and/or project management experience. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, estimating & take-off software, BIM tools ( Revit , Assemble, etc.) Key Details: Competitive Compensation Package Benefits and 401K are comprehensive and one of the best programs in the industry.
