As a Retail Security Supervisor you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations and success of the Security team at a high profile retail location. Focused on the safety of all staff and visitors, the Security Guard Supervisor is responsible for managing contract operations, a team of security guards, as well as overseeing call response and day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, procedures and position directives. Schedule: Monday to Friday 0800-1600 (Successful applicants will need to be able to work flexible hours should business needs dictate) Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 dependent upon experience and training What's in it for you? Plan, direct and ensure the smooth running of operations Train, retain and develop your security team Develop and implement procedures and policies for security operations Make recommendations to improve and optimize the security service Manage schedules, special projects, daily staff operations Responsible for assisting with site security & safety programs Respond to security incidents as a lead investigator-from initial investigation, reporting, communication of details of incident, liaising with appropriate personnel and emergency services if required Assign security team audits, supervise completion, verify results. Communicate and log details of audits to track trends and patterns Direct security and staff response in the event of an emergency. Act as primary security role Provide outstanding leadership.
