At Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel, we have an exciting opening to join our team as a Restaurant Manager for our highly popular iasg restaurant… We are looking for someone who can commit to Full-Time, across 5 shifts per week (all hours worked are paid for). Being flexible would be a great plus as we are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days. We will be there to support you each step of the way, encouraging you to thrive in your role and develop additional skills within the wider Hotel! We are paying up to £32,000.00 per annum plus service charge paid monthly! As a Restaurant Manager, you will be supporting our wider F&B Manager to help the day-to-day running of our highly popular iasg restaurant. Our restaurant is a sustainable offering for both in-house guests, tourists and locals alike – proving Scottish seafood and other delicacies. You will be someone who can cater customers’ experiences to provide excellent service and work closely with our Kitchen team to ensure the smooth running of the entire restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager you will be supporting both operationally (development and management of team members) and behind the scene (such as managing finances and stock). You will be someone who is well versed to all aspects of running a high-end restaurant. To succeed in this role, you will need: Experience working within a high-end restaurant as either a Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Assistant Manager (preferably for a minimum of 1-2 years) Strong people management skills specifically in training and developing employees Hunger for success in the form of a high standard service, you will pay close attention to detail and have experience dealing with service recoveries Above all, you will have a positive attitude and be looking for your next challenge to see where your career can take you! .
