Our respite camp counselor position allows you to assist adults and children in classic camp activities at Camp Sunnyside, including canoeing, horseback riding, archery, nature trails, the Variety Club Rec Center, an accessible indoor pool and the Meredith Tree House. Camp provides parents and caregivers a much-deserved multi-day break while creating a safe and supportive environment. It also promotes new, exciting experiences utilizing person-centered methods. Running from Friday at 5PM through Sunday evening, this is a great part-time option for anyone looking for a fulfilling yet unique opportunity to serve individuals with physical and mental health disabilities! This position requires potential employees to complete a background check. Application process consists of 1st phone interview with Recruitment & Talent Development Coordinator before scheduling a 2nd Team Leader interview.
