Our agency is looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist to help monitor patient progress and administer breathing treatments based on the instructions provided by a team of Physicians in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will have experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting, a compassionate and caring attitude and a proven ability to work collaboratively. If you are a registered Respiratory Therapist that’s looking to further your career in a growing healthcare practice, we want to hear from you. Examples of Respiratory Therapist responsibilities : Perform necessary procedures with non-invasive methods such as CPAP and BIPAP therapiesEducate and counsel staff members on basic respiratory therapy proceduresCreate therapy programs for patients based on the specific instructions of PhysiciansEngage in diagnostic evaluation, treatment and control of deficiencies and abnormal functions found in the patient’s cardiopulmonary systemCollaborate with nursing staff to administer blood gas samples and perform basic analysis Examples of Respiratory Therapist skills Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy requiredCurrent and valid RRT or CRT license2+ years’ active therapy experience requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsComprehensive knowledge of therapy procedures for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatricAbility to work collaboratively and with minimal supervisionPowered by JazzHR
