EOEPosition Information: The Respiratory Care Assistant (RCA) is enrolled in a recognized Respiratory Care Program that have been approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care. -Respiratory Care Assistant will work under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner (RCP). -The RCA will be competent and perform the following respiratory care procedures: -oxygen supply systems, equipment processing, manual resuscitation, oxygen administration, humidity and aerosol therapy, small volume nebulizer therapy, MDI administration, incentive spirometry, non-invasive mechanical airway clearance therapy, chest physiotherapy with suctioning, arterial puncture, electrocardiogram (if performed by hiring institute), and patient reporting.Experience Requirements: Training Clinical - Respiratory Therapy RequiredEducation Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent -Required - And College Courses Respiratory Therapy RequiredLicensure/Certification Requirements: Respiratory Care Assistant Required - And Basic Life Support Required - And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Required - And Pediatric Advanced Life Support RequiredHours of Work: 7a-7pWeekend Requirements: As NeededCall Requirements: no
