The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Summary: Reporting to the Regional Manager, Home Care Operations, the Resource Coordinator is responsible for supervising and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of personal care and home support services to Home Care Clients. The incumbent will exercise professional judgment in the completion of their duties and action to be taken on unusual day to day matters. The incumbent exercises the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud. Qualifications: • Grade 12 education required • Completion of a Health Care Aide Certificate • Knowledge of home care systems and programs • Two years’ experience in coordinating human resources in the delivery of services to clients • Supervisory experience in a unionized environment • Experience in scheduling staff in work assignments preferred • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills • Demonstrated ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships • Demonstrated ability to.
