First Resources Corp. of Ottumwa is looking for a Part-time Residential Technician for our Hope House Facility. The ideal candidate would be responsible for the health and safety of individuals receiving services in our treatment facilities, and the ongoing treatment of their recovery. Our agency serves individuals who come to receive assistance with gaining the skills necessary to reintegrated back into community living! At First Resources Corp. we strive to inspire hope and to contribute to the well-being of the people we serve! Weekly Hours: Friday & Saturday 6:00am - 2:00pm Essential Job Functions: Provide monitoring and assistance for each person served. Ensures medical needs of members are met through observation of medication and proper documentation. This includes attending medical appointments and following all policies and procedures relating to med administration policies of the agency. Assures doctors' orders are followed as well. Provides transportation as directed by supervisor. Maintains safe, reliable and properly insured transportation. Complete service notes by the end of scheduled shift. Provides updates to Supervisor, Counselor and/or Office Manager and communicates service needs or discharge in a timely manner. Ensures that each member has the opportunity to engage in sober community activities at the discretion of the Clinical Supervisor. Oversee the daily events, meals , bedtimes of clients Facilitate Life Skills Group as indicated on the treatment schedule. Schedule Options: PRN - Work at least twice a month, for a total of 16 hours. Pick up shifts where needed or self-scheduling. Part time - Work at least once a week up to 30 hours per week. Pick up shifts where needed or self-scheduling. Full-time - Work up to 40 hours per week. Pick up shifts where needed for additional overtime . Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Thorough training will be provided during your employment to excel at this position! No previous experience required! Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record and show proof of auto insurance. Satisfactory results on background check. APPLY TODAY! We are an equal opportunity employer.
