Residential Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) Real-world impact. Life-changing outcomes. CommQuest seeks Part-time Residential Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant(s) (CDCA) for weekend dayshift (Friday-Sunday) to work at our women's residential facility in Canton. The Residential CDCA will be responsible for providing case management services, individual and group counseling, and promote recovery and resiliency principles. We help people make positive changes in their lives through in-patient, outpatient and school-based programs, along with supportive services - from basic needs to employment assistance. Provides individual and group counseling. Provide crisis intervention/counseling for individuals to resolve or stabilize the crisis. Carries a case load and maintains CommQuest productivity requirements. All other duties as assigned Schedule: Weekend Days: Friday - Sunday Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, with an Associate's degree in Human Services, Chemical Dependency, or another related field highly desired. Minimum of a current, active CDCA certification through the Ohio CDP Board is required. Previous experience of 1+ year working with adults with Substance Use Disorder and/or mild to moderate mental illness is required. Must have the ability to establish working relationships with diverse individuals in a variety of settings and situations. Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other providers in the agency and community. We are an equal opportunity employer.
