We Need: Supportive and caring individuals with good verbal communication skills looking for a position to work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a Group Home Setting. The Full Time Manager Assistant helps by providing support and training to 5 - 6 individuals each day. Hours : are Mon - Fri 2p-10p. Rate : $14.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, plus full benefit package. What You'll Do: Teach meal planning and cooking. Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal care & hygiene. Facilitating community integration by providing community recreational activities when available Offer guidance with in-home leisure activities. Documentation of activities. Helping residents develop healthy social habits. Dispensing medication and monitoring dosages. Attending doctor appointments as needed. Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van. What You'll Bring: Strong verbal skills. Positive outlook. Friendly and Caring demeanor. Willingness to Learn and Grow. Experience helping people with disabilities. Valid Driver's License. High School Diploma. All InReach applicants are required to have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and successfully pass a drug screen and background check. Applicant must be at least 18 years old and have s ix months of verifiable direct experience working with individuals with disabilities (paid or volunteer). In lieu of experience with disabilities, other relevant experience may be considered with additional on the job training. All experience must be verifiable.
