Main Responsibilities Lead on the creation and implementation of West Kent’s Resident Involvement Strategy and lead on the development of innovative models of involvement and co creation with residents. Effectively manage and support the Resident Involvement team in accordance with West Kents management culture and responsibilities. Understand and interpret emerging legislative and regulatory changes and ensure West Kents approach meets and exceeds the requirements. Support a culture of transparency and accountability and a resident involvement programme that builds fairness and respect between West Kent and residents. Lead on consultations and involvement with our residents, working proactively with heads of service to ensure consultation approach is meaningful and effective and that residents are participating in decision making processes. Ensure all resident involvement initiatives and processes consider the diverse needs and preferences of residents, giving all residents the opportunity to be involved. Develop mechanisms for sharing the outcomes and impact of changes made to services because of residents’ involvement and influence.
