Salary: $89,374 - $112,924 Grade: 25 The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time position as a Research Project Manager III in the Division of Gender, Sexuality and Health. The study is a randomized controlled trial to test the efficacy of a trauma-informed, multi-level status-neutral intervention delivered via telehealth to reduce health disparities among trans women of color. Duties and Responsibilities: The Research Project Manager will be responsible for the following: Direct day-to-day operations of the project: (1) drafting, adapting, and updating research and IRB protocols; (2) overseeing participant recruitment and retention in partnership with community-based clinical partner organizations; (3) overseeing sub-studies as needed; (4) overseeing data collection, including biomarkers; and (5) assuring compliance with all data collection standards. Hire, train and supervise study related personnel, creating and monitoring personnel effort and assignments. Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and fulfill reporting requirements. Develop new skills as needed to meet project demands. Oversee the monthly/quarterly/annual project deliverables as required. Communicate issues and solutions to the Principal Investigator in a timely manner. Preparation for presentations, drafts for publications, and reference building with opportunities for publications under the supervision of the PI. Working closely with the PIs, co-investigators, community partners, and statisticians to ensure quality assurance and aid in processing of study data. Other duties include providing administrative support for the Principal Investigator including coordinating professional meetings or events, drafting/proofing documents, composing correspondence with other investigators and collaborators, assistance with grant and manuscript writing, etc. Excellent computer skills in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and SPSS and Adobe Acrobat Willingness and ability to travel may be required. Minimum Qualifications: Successful candidates must have a MA degree or equivalent in education and training. Minimum of 2 years of relevant research experience in a medical or social science research environment. In addition, the candidate must have the following experience or training: Minimum 1-2 years of experience with project coordination including scientific proposals, budgets, contracts and tracking project timelines. Minimum 1-2 years of experience qualitative and quantitative interviewing, with experience conducting interviews about sexual risk behavior, HIV, and trauma. Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with trans and gender expansive communities. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with multidisciplinary teams of researchers. Minimum 1-2 years of experience HIV research. Minimum 1-2 years of experience longitudinal research. RFMH employees may be required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 depending on work location and must provide proof of vaccination.
