Stephenson Equipment, Inc. (SEI) , an industry leader in Pennsylvania and New York providing sales, rentals, parts, and service for construction equipment, cranes, paving, road building and road maintenance equipment, has an immediate need for a Rental Maintenance / Equipment Yard Laborer at our Wilkes-Barre branch. This position assists the Rental Department with the maintenance and care of our rental equipment fleet, as well as managing the equipment yard area. Duties include, but are not limited to: Use the yard machine to load customer's equipment Unload stock shipments Clean and organize the yard Keep the yard safe and organized efficiently Maintain accessibility to machines and supplies Check in machines and check out machines Clean machines and evaluate for damages Clean and maintain wash bay and related equipment Perform basic maintenance on machines that that have been returned or are going out for rent Stage for transportation or for customer pick up Work as part of a team within the organization Perform various administrative duties Perform other duties as assigned The best fit to our team will have: High School Diploma or GED Valid Driver's License Basic automotive or equipment maintenance experience Strong organization and communication skills Technical/mechanical aptitude Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment while performing with a sense of urgency Math skills High degree of attention to detail Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a frequent basis Total Compensation Includes: Competitive salary Full Benefits Package 401k with Matching Paid Time Off The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of the position and may not include all of the duties required of the position.
