Reports to the Drafting Supervisor Duties/Responsibilities: Create the correct model in AutoCAD Find out customer requirements by speaking to them Make revisions on a model based on customer requirements Specify material used on model Compute mathematical formulas to find correct dimensions Create models out of rough sketches Coordinate with other teams to ensure the model is correct Develop standardized models of products Required Skills/Abilities: Very detail oriented Knowledge of necessary regulations Great time management skills Ability to work on your own Ability to problem solve Ability to stay organized Ability to juggle multiple projects at once Solid mathematical skills Education and Experience: Associate degree in drafting from technical school preferred OR AutoCAD certificate required Experience with AutoCAD software (2-3 years minimum) 3 years of millwork experience required Supervisory Responsibilities: None Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Travel to yearly conference to PA headquarters
