General Information: Job title: Registration - Clinic Schedule: Part-time 1, 48 hours per pay period; Monday-Friday, 7:30am-6:00pm (shift varies) Weekend rotation: No Weekends Holiday rotation: Paid Holidays Position Summary: The Registration position greets patients and obtains and verifies patient demographics and insurance information. Position Responsibilities: Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting in person or on the telephone. Register patients for their appointments by verifying all demographics, DOB, address, phone, contact information and checking eligibility on all insurances. Collecting all necessary paperwork and consents for treatment. Document cash drawer and process payments by collecting copays and assisting patients with basic billing questions. Check out patients after their appointment and schedule new appointments if needed. Assist with on the job training for new employees. Maintain reception area in neat orderly fashion at all times. Participate in medical office emergency routine, whenever required and summon triage when needed. Perform other duties as requested. Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1 year or less of related work experience preferred. Experience working in the medical industry preferred. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Intermediate proficiency with computers is required.
