Here’s where you’ll be focusing: RPT’s will have independent authority, responsibility, and liability to prepare, process and compound prescriptions including: • Receive, transcribe and record verbal orders as legislated by the applicable provincial regulatory body • Receive and initiate shop prescription transfers as legislated by the applicable provincial regulatory body • Provide technical information/teaching where a clinical judgment or backssment by the pharmacist is not required • Check prescriptions for.
