Registered Practical Nurse, Withdrawal Management Registered Practical Nurse (OPSEU, Elgin) Full-time, Contract (up to 2.2 years) St. Thomas; Elgin County Catchment Area - Application Deadline: October 5, 2023 - We believe in recovery. Through our Withdrawal Management Program, we provide a safe environment for clients as they experience withdrawal symptoms; ensuring a calm, respectful and supportive environment as clients undertake the difficult work of moving forward in their recovery journeys. As part of this multi-disciplinary team, you will support clients staying in our short-term Withdrawal Management Beds by providing crisis management and encouragement while ensuring a calm and respectful environment for all. Successful candidates must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check completed in the last six months. Interested applicants who reside in the City of London and are in need of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) are encouraged to apply for one as soon as possible as PVSCs in the City of London are currently taking approximately 2 weeks to be processed and offers of employment cannot be made without receipt of a PVSC.
