A day in the life of a Management Registered Dietitian: As a Registered Dietitian on the Management Team, you will work with, mentor, train, participate in the on boarding process of entry level dietitians/experienced dietitians entering into the consulting area. You will assist in the interviewing and hiring process of potential consulting dietitians in your area. You will assist in managing RD assignments/ approve OT in your assigned area in accordance with budgeted guidelines. As a regional manager, you will also continue to assist the RDs in your area by assisting in coverage needs for PTO/other approved absences. A regional management dietitian will in addition support your client base with being a liaison with key staff of corporate groups serviced by HTI/ conduct Serv safe education/training as needed/provide your clinical expertise in communities serving as their consultant dietitian. EXPECTATIONS: Willing to spend approximately 75% of your time in the field CDR credentials Licensed or certified in all states in your regional area (note HTI will support in obtaining licenses/certifications needed) 3-4 years of experience in dietetics/FS with 2-3 years of experience preferred in LTC Must be willing to travel with overnight stays up to once a week. Ability to be flexible to adjust schedule to accommodate last minute changes for clients/RDs Strong ability to work independently/have strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects Strong written/verbal communication skills for reports and consultations.
