Our hygiene team is a true example of what teamwork looks like in an office setting. They work together, calibrate patients' treatment plans, and help each other out when needed. The teamwork does not stop there, though, because our office really demonstrates teamwork throughout all departments. You will see hygienists helping assistants, assistants helping hygienists, and the front desk helping flip rooms when needed. You might be wondering what making your own schedule means. What is your dream schedule? Is it working shorter days but five days a week? Is it working four days but coming in a little later? Maybe you need to leave earlier every day? Making your own schedule means exactly that. Bring us your dream schedule, and I am sure we can make it work. Responsibilities: • Sterilize all dental equipment to make sure everything is properly cleaned• Keep detailed records of each patient’s visit and update their health history• Aid dentists by deliberating the best way to treat a variety of dental disease• Identify dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, or cavities so they can be treated as soon as possible • Use molds to create dental impressions of patients’ teeth so that their mouthguards, dentures, veneers, etc. are correctly made Qualifications: • Associate’s degree and certification in dental hygiene program required, higher levels of education are highly valued • Superb customer service and communication skills • In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations• Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located• Certified to perform CPR Compensation: $50 - $55 hourly About Company: Family-owned private general office led by a dynamic husband-and-wife team.
