Registered Behavior Technician/Behavior Technician Responsibilities:- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).-Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.- Assist with the assessment and evaluation of client needs.-Provide direct one on one therapy to clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities.-Teach and reinforce appropriate social communication, and daily living skills.-Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop treatment goals and strategies.-Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients.Qualifications;-Must have RBT license- High school diploma or equivalent required: Bachelor's degree in psychology, education or related field preferred.-Previous work experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus (can be trained on the job)-Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans accurately-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written-Patience, empathy and a genuine desire to help others-Ability to work independently as well a s part of a team-Be able to use devices such as laptops and ipadsC Positive ABA is an excellent opportunity/place for individuals interested in making a positive impact in the lives of people diagnosed with autism.Please submit your resume and cover letter if you wish to apply.
