PCI SSC Regional VP, North America Full time & Remote Preference for candidates in North America PCI Security Standards Council is looking for a new Regional VP, North America to join the team! This VP level position is responsible for the overall growth and stability of the Participating Organization (PO) program for the PCI SSC. This high-profile job will include interaction with PCI SSC stakeholders on an ongoing basis and will be the key contact and resource for North American stakeholders. Additionally, they will be responsible for leading the overall strategy to generate awareness, participation, and drive revenue from the Participating Organization programs. A priority responsibility of this role will be to carry out plans to develop and increase industry participation and engagement. This VP will be expected to understand the value of being a Participating Organization, including the many benefits to each PO participant level. Key responsibilities will include serving as a champion and liaison to increase participation and retain current Principal POs and Associate POs. In addition to implementing participation initiatives and building relationships, the VP will manage internal and external relationships related to PO activities and promotions. This is a 100% remote role that is highly collaborative. You will be frequently engaged with Council staff and will contribute to various meetings and events, primarily during US business hours. Travel opportunities What you will be doing in this role: Responsible for building and maintaining key strategic relationships and servicing the needs of key stakeholders, Is the primary contact for North American key stakeholder including regular and ongoing interactions with PPOs, Advisors and GEAR members Responsible for the achievement of the participation goals. Responsible for developing PO leads to grow the audience. Identify possible participants in Payment Card Industry ecosystem worldwide, but with a focus on the Americas, including identification and initial outreach. Implement participation strategies, plans and tactics to promote the value of PO participation. Conduct participation in research activities. Represent the PCI SSC by speaking at relevant events and conferences and in media interviews and supporting articles (in conjunction with the PCI SSC Communications team) Manage analysis, interpretation and reporting of participatio n campaign, program metrics and performance. Develop, implement, and monitor systems and procedures necessary for tracking participation activities and trends. Ensure evaluation systems are in place related to goals, objectives, and report progress. Work across PCI SSC teams and outside vendors on participation activities and promotions. Responsible for content, and distribution of participation materials both in print and electronic . Develop best practice participation renewal and lifecycle communications procedures. Ensure promotion of the PCI SSC PO Program image and position, ensuring consistent communication of brand and position throughout the industry and with key constituencies. Provide participant feedback, representing the voice of the participant into value of the PO Program. Develop all market-specific outreach and collateral material in collaboration with PCI SSC leadership, to effectively communicate the value of the PO Program. Identify ways to increase participant value at PCI SSC events. Provide consultation and input on engagement strategies What you will need for this role: 5+ years of experience working in a membership recruitment/participation role preferred. Sales/promotional experience in the payments industry Strong presentation/sales skills Senior-level contacts within the payment card industry Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field Outstanding communication (oral and written) influencing and relationship building skills. Motivated self-starter Exceptional written, interpersonal and communication skills with commitment to a high level of customer service Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment with short deadlines, demonstrating a flexible approach. Full understanding of the importance of responsiveness and attention to the customer Exceptional time management skills and commitment to meeting deadlines and goals. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. Organization, management of concurrent projects in heavy workloads, ability to meet necessary deadlines. Flexible working approach to enable interaction with global team members. Appreciation and capability of working in a diverse environment with all levels of employees. A moderate amount of travel time will be required. The minimum starting salary for this role is $180,000 USD annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
