THE DAILY LIFE OF A RECRUITER In this talent acquisition role with our nonprofit, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to scour the land and find the best and brightest candidates to join our team. From start to finish, you are the go-to person for everything recruiting-related: sourcing, screening, and onboarding. We rely on you to get the inside scoop from hiring managers and stakeholders so that you can craft killer outreach strategies to bring in top talent. But your work doesn't stop there - you're also in charge of ensuring everyone involved in the hiring process has a great experience. No pressure, but we're counting on you to make sure everyone walks away feeling like a rockstar. Your talent doesn't stop at finding great candidates - you're also a pro at identifying the best sourcing channels to make sure we're reaching the right people. And when those applications start rolling in, you are ready to rock the interview process by providing all the necessary docs and guidelines in a snap. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RECRUITER Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration, or marketing OR an equivalent combination of experience and education 3+ years of recent recruiting experience with a successful track record as a recruiter in a large, high-volume, complex, and rapidly changing environment Experience working with and guiding hiring teams Demonstrated achievement with recruiting for a variety of roles from high-volume entry-level positions to executive-level needs in various disciplines Familiarity with recruitment tools and sourcing methods such as online job platforms, social media, multiple search engines, and job aggregators or propagators Computer literacy, including effective working skills in Oracle, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Outlook, Salesforce, and other related software Covid-19 vaccination Experience working in a nonprofit is preferred but not required. A Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or a Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) designation would be considered an asset. Three years of experience using human resources information systems (HRIS) would also be a plus! To be successful in this talent acquisition role, you should be able to manage your time well, build relationships, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
