Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell, P.C. (CBM), an accounting and business advisory firm that serves clients in the Washington, DC region, is currently seeking a dedicated Recruiter with 3+ years of recruiting industry experience to help our HR & Talent Acquisition team. Must have strong communication and organizational skills. Remote work is available but may be needed in the office occasionally. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with hiring managers to identify each position's requirement and draft job ad postings Create strategies for sourcing candidates on social media and work with our marketing team on advertising and marketing strategies to promote open positions and connect with potential candidates Manage recruiting database (iSolved/hire) Review online resumes and pre-screen candidates Send recruiting emails and follow-up with candidates and hiring teams at all stages of the recruiting process Conduct background and reference checks Maintain integrity and consistency of the selection/recruiting process Measure and report on recruiting metrics Identify future hiring needs and proactively source potential hires Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals Improve overall recruiting by identifying problematic areas and presenting ideas for enhancement Guide leadership team in developing specific recruiting strategies and activities necessary to reach recruiting goals Manage internship and college recruiting programs Attend recruiting and networking events Assist with onboarding and create training programs for new hires Be knowledgeable on information and language regarding all aspects of the Accountant career and each step of the selection process Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS : US work authorization (required) Bachelor's degree in Business, or relevant field 3+ years' recruiting industry experience working for a professional services/public accounting firm Proficient with MS Office Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor Effective relationship building skills Strong technological acumen and comfort with learning how to use new tools Familiarity with social networks, professional sites, and resume databases Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously Ability to work normal business hours - 9am to 5pm Self-motivated and highly organized Detail-oriented and punctual Unquestionable integrity and dependability At CBM, it is our goal to hire talented, energetic people who are enthusiastic about what they do.
