It's a great time to work in Pflugerville! The City of Pflugerville is seeking its next Recreation Program Coordinator (PT) to join our team! The person we seek will believe in and exhibit the City's P.F.I.R.S.T. core values: P ositive, F orward-thinking, I ntegrity, R esilience, S ervice, and T eamwork. As a part-time Recreation Program Coordinator for the City, you will facilitate the provision of recreational activities for citizens in the community. Essential duties and responsibilities include: Supervises and evaluates existing classes and programs. Assists in planning, coordinating and implementing new recreation programs for youth and adults. Assists with coordinating and implementing the City's strategic objectives, policies, procedures, and state and federal laws. Completes administrative duties by creating, distributing, and collecting program evaluations; generates revenue reports; creates flyers for programs and events; maintains registration and seasonal program paperwork; collects program information. Assists with enforcement of youth sports policies. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skill Requirements: Formal Education: Associate's degree or 60 semester hours of college from an accredited college/university. Relatable Work Experience: 1 year of experience working in recreation programming. Certification Qualifications: CPR/First Aid/AED Certified, or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire date. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree in recreation, sports, athletics, or related field required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
