The Role: Part-time Receptionist We are seeking a part-time Receptionist to join our front desk team in our bustling London office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This role involves a range of administrative tasks. You will be responsible for answering telephone calls professionally and swiftly, transferring them to the appropriate staff member, handling incoming mail, and ensuring all outbound post is ready for dispatch. Additionally, you'll be greeting visitors, cross-referencing with the appointment diary, and adhering to Health & Safety protocols. This opportunity is ideal for someone in the early stages of their career, eager to be a part of a dynamic and expanding organisation. Given the intricate knowledge this role will offer about our business, its financial performance, and sensitive colleague information, utmost discretion is essential. Responsibilities: Answering telephone calls professionally and promptly, directing them to the relevant staff member. Coordinating meetings and pre-emptively organising necessary materials. Liaising with the broader management team as needed. Greeting visitors, cross-referencing the appointments diary, and managing Health & Safety requirements. Handling incoming mail and ensuring all external post is dispatched promptly. Procuring stationery and other consumables at the best possible prices. Preparing rooms for meetings. The Person: The ideal candidate is self-driven and capable of working independently. Strong IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Power Point, and Word. Exceptional interpersonal skills, equipped to interact seamlessly with colleagues, suppliers, and clients. Radiates enthusiasm and maintains a professional demeanour. Skilled in multitasking, with excellent time-management capabilities and a knack for prioritizing tasks. Can effectively work under tight deadlines.
