Are you an experienced title processor looking for an opportunity to take your research, analysis, and teamwork skills to the next level? We are growing rapidly and are looking for someone to help us clear titles for real estate mortgage transactions. If you have a background in title processing or real estate transactions, an eye for detail and discrepancies, and a customer service mindset, apply today! Responsibilities: • Submit pertinent title and loan documents into software programs to record transactions and track applicant’s progress• Work with title examiner and underwriter to prepare title insurance policy and binders and title commitments, and with loan closer to prepare HUD-1 real estate settlement statements• Research and verify the accuracy of documentation such as property title records, property ownership, public records, deeds, leases, surveys, contracts, and agreements needed to produce a clear title • Aid title officers with administrative assistant essential duties, including clerical and data entry support• Assure all closing instructions are followed as per the closing package, and confirm with loan officer, mortgage loan processor, and underwriter to be sure all underwriting commitments have been satisfied Qualifications: • Preference is 1-3 years of experience in title processing, real estate transactions, or as a mortgage loan processor or title company pre-processor• Computer proficient with numerous programs including MS Office is needed• College is an asset but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is a requirement• Certification as a notary public is not required but is appreciated• Superb research, communications, customer service, and analysis skills are desired Compensation: 18 - 25 hourly About Company: Founded by a former Senior leader at one of the largest lenders in America, Sonic Loans was built from the ground up to be the obvious choice for our clients with our unmatched speed, responsiveness, and experience to properly navigate the trickiest scenarios to a successful closing.
