LOCATION: Wild Horse Pass Corporate Center COMPENSATION: $76,400-$100,000 Annually, plus incentive opportunity HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week, Full-Time FLSA STATUS: Exempt SUPERVISORY: Yes REPORTS TO: WHPDA General Manager Position Summary: The R ea l Estate Leasing Man a g e r will le a d W HPDA ' s e f f o r ts to le a se lands within the 3,000 + acre Wild Horse Pass Development Area . The Real Estate Leasing Mana g e r will a dvise W HPDA re g a rding t h e e s t a bl i shment of c ompeti t ive ta r g e t l e a se r a tes a nd le a sing strategies based on comparable economic and demographic data . The R ea l Estate Leasing Mana g e r will a ss i st wi t h identifi ca t i on of str a te g ic lo n g - te r m land use obje c t i v e s in o r d e r to ac hieve c omp l i m e nta r y a nd c o h e sive land uses, while ma x i m i z ing le a se incom e . Knowledge of 2015 Gila River Indian Community Leasing Regulations and Code of Federal Regulations: Title 25 Business Lease Requirements, Part 162, Subpart D Business Leases Facilitate potential leasing tenants through the 2015 Gila River Indian Community Leasing Regulations. Ensure contracts are in compliance with the Gila River Indian Community Constitution, Ordinances & Regulations, and any applicable Federal Requirements. Assist the WHPDA Marketing Manager and vendors in the effective utilization of the WHPDA website and digital strategy. M a intain a d a ta b a s e sy s tem for WHPDA leased properties. Apply r e l e v a nt knowl e d g e in follow i ng c ont r a ct, pr o p e r t y, or in s u r a n c e law s Key Qualifications - Education & Work Experience: D e gree in R e a l E s tat e , B u s in e s s Admini s t ration, or 10 years of substantial commercial real estate experience Substantial experience in commercial real estate leasing. Knowledge of the 2015 Gila River Leasing Regulations Understanding of the Dept. of Interior-Bureau of Indian Affairs Code of Federal Regulations Part 25 Business Leasing Knowledge of Tribal Governments Arizona R e a l E s tate L i c e n s e p referred. Prefer candidate who has e xp e rien c e w o r king in or w i t h Native Ameri c a n T ribal businesses. Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a highs school diploma or GED. M u s t p o ss e s s a v a lid A Z d river's li c ense a nd p r ovide proof of p a s t d riving re c o r d f or thi r t y - nine (39) m onths fr om t he Dep a r t ment of M otor Veh i c le GR I C dri v er's p e r m it w i ll be r equ i red, d r ive c erti f i ca tion n e e d e d to drive a ll c ommuni t y v eh i c l es. Must pass pre-employment drug screen prior to assuming position. Ability to s p ea k in f r ont of l a r g e g roup s . Knowledge of land valuation and various types of adjustment mechanisms to maximize land values within WHPDA. Knowledge of development due diligence requirements (cultural and environmental assessments, civil surveys) Ability to l ea d complex r e s e a rch proje c ts th r ough to a n end point, in c luding p re s enting to the B o a rd of Dire c to r s a n d/or G ila R iv e r I ndi a n C o mmuni t y T r ib a l C ounc il, Able to communi ca t e e ff e cti v e l y a nd l ea d others th r ough criti ca l d e c i s io n - ma king.
