Position Information: NWHSU is pleased to offer a unique full-time faculty opportunity within the College of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine (ACM). The Clinical Education Lead Supervisor will provide clinical leadership, administrative support, and assessment/evaluation support for clinical internship opportunities in the College of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. This position will support our supervisory team and be a key member of the clinical education team to support academic excellence for the next generation of Acupuncturists and Chinese Medicine providers. Work Location: Bloomington, MN with flexibility to work 1-2 days per week remotely; must live local and be able to come to campus as needed. Duties: Administer clinical and programmatic policies and procedures. Conduct ongoing and regular chart audits in accordance with procedures and standards set forth by the Quality Assurance (QA) committee. Organize and supervise student community events. Represent the College of ACM Clinical Education on the Quality Assurance (QA) committee. Manage clinical incidents, Integrative Case Studies clinical project and other projects as needed. Supervise all clinical supervisory faculty for the College of ACM clinical education department. Participate in the new supervisor hiring process. Provide training and orientation for new faculty and ongoing training of all supervisors. Represent the program and provide assistance at White Coat Ceremony, Discovery Day, and other NWHSU events, as needed. Serve as a liaison between the clinical supervisory team and College of ACM administration. Provide coaching and remediation and complete annual performance reviews. Support student remediation planning and the managing of students undergoing remediation. Co-manage student clinical assessment process. Participate in marketing, recruitment, and treatment events which may be scheduled outside of regular university hours, on or off campus. What you need to have? Doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, or a combination of a Master's degree in Chinese medicine with a doctorate in a related field (Public Health, Clinical Administration, etc.). Active MN state acupuncture license. Chinese herbal education through an accredited program, required (MCM, MOM, MaCM, etc. NCCAOM Board Diplomate. CPR and BLS certification- Health care provider level. 1-3 years experience teaching in higher education. 3-5 years management experience. 5+ years experience as licensed provider. Experience in a variety of clinical environments (community-based, private clinical practice, hospital based settings, etc.). Strong interpersonal communication skills.
