Oregon Urology Institute has opening for a Per Diem Radiologic Tech . Oregon Urology Institute is one of the largest, most advanced urological centers in the Northwest. Oregon Urology Institute provides patients with some of the region's finest medical experts covering every major urological specialty using proven and leading-edge technologies such as robotic surgery, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy. We are looking for someone with excellent people skills to serve the patients, providers and other support staff by performing tests using the appropriate radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic X-rays and performing routine diagnostic procedures as directed by providers. Requirements: Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to sufficiently pinpoint area of radiography. Knowledge of radiology equipment and testing. Knowledge of safety hazards common to radiology, including equipment body mechanics and patient movement. Skill in properly positioning patients to provide quality imaging. Skill in trouble-shooting equipment operation and performing simple adjustments. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public. Ability to communicate clearly. Education: Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved (two-year) school for radiologic technology. Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT). Current Oregon License in diagnostic radiography. Students with a valid temp license from OBMI qualify. Healthcare provider level CPR certification required. NOTE : This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. All new employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and able to provide proof on their first day of work. All candidates must pass a drug screen and background check in order to be considered for employment. This is a Per Diem position that offers flexibility and no weekends. We offer excellent wages starting at $31.08 to $44.51 PH (DOE) and a fun and compelling culture.
