Our client, a consumer manufacturing brand, has a requirement for a R&D Packaging Manager to join the R&D team at their Kent based facility. As R&D Packaging Manager, you will: Drive the development, validation, and execution of new packaging elements with excellence to full scale manufacturing and provide expertise and support to the engineering team Identify and manage optimisation of existing packaging elements through cost savings, sustainability improvements and manufacturing efficiency improvements aspects Ensure compliance with relevant GMP and hygiene procedures and standards Work cross-functionally, on global business practices and improve efficiency of the R&D organisation To be considered for the role of R&D Packaging manager, you will have: Educated to degree level in a relevant scientific or engineering field5 or more years relevant experience in consumer goods packaging development or a similar environment Experience in technology sourcing and innovation management.
