Job Title Quantity Surveyor Salary 45k - 70k Must Haves Essential - Right to work in the UK - Sponsorship not available Recent and relevant surveying experience in a similar position within the construction/fit out industry. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent IT skills especially Microsoft Office and Excel. Proven ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) to build relationships with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders. Strong Commercial Awareness and negotiation skills. Experience in managing and dealing with contractual issues on standard forms of contract i. e. JCT form of Contract. Strong knowledge of contract documents. Construction practices and techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both alone and in a team environment. A proactive and flexible working approach with the ability to adapt to changing situations and duties. Full driving licence and access to vehicle - Desirable. Third level qualification in Surveying or related discipline. Experience of writing PQQ. Bid and Tender submissions. Experience of e-tendering. Job Description My client is based in Northern Ireland but they are willing to take candidates from GB. The suitable candidate can work from home Monday to Friday and visit site either 2-3 days that week, depending on site requirements - therefore travel is essential.15 projects due to start in Jan - 2 of which are based in London. These projectsare worth 20million. COMPANY- HEADCOUNT -70 across the business team of 5 in QS team. CANDIDATE - 3-5 years experience being a QS on similar projects -Fitouts/hotels/construction. Working on same budget projects min-10million. HOURS - Monday-Friday- 8:30-5pm. BENEFITS: Private medical Life Insurance. 32 days holiday allowance - including public holidays.
