Position Overview: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team and play a key role in their multi: million: pound UKPN framework projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of projects, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining compliance with NEC contracts. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in quantity surveying while working in this relevant sector to join an exciting project that will be making serious, notable change This is a freelance, ongoing role were you will be working inside of IR35. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the financial aspects of rail infrastructure projects within the multi: million: pound network framework. Prepare, review, and monitor budgets, ensuring cost control and accuracy. Collaborate with project teams to provide timely and accurate cost advice. Administer NEC contracts and ensure compliance throughout project lifecycles. Prepare and negotiate contractual agreements, variations, and final accounts. Conduct risk backssments and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise project cost: effectiveness. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering projects, specifically in relation to UKPN or a similar company. Thorough understanding and practical application of NEC contracts. Proficient in cost estimation, budget management, and financial reporting.
