Quantity Surveyor : Milton Keynes Are you ready for an exciting opportunity in the civil industry. Do you have experience in all aspects of the civil industry.this may be the role for you. We are looking for a quantity surveyor for a tier 1 contractor who deals with highways and environmental works mainly. Our client deals with highways, infrastructure, public realm, nuclear, water and environmental. The ideal candidate would have experience in all, however the project is mainly highways and environmental. As a quantity surveyor you will be overseeing the resources and project teams on project, help maximise the cash flow and margin, backssing, reviewing and mitigating risks. Day Rate (CIRCA) : GBP350.00 : GBP400.00 Start Date : April Duration : Ongoing Location : Milton Keynes Responsibilities will include: : Managing all aspects of the contractual side to the project : Carrying out cost analysis : Monitoring cost variations and writing reports : Allocating work to subcontractors and making payments : Ensuring the project does not exceed the budget Requirements: : Diploma or Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying : Knowledge of NEC3 and 4 contracts : Ideally experience from a civil background : Experience in a similar role : Excellent numeracy, understanding forecast management, CVRs and supplementary financial reports and final accounts : Intermediate user of Excel and good use of other Microsoft packages : UK Driving Licence If this role sounds right for you.
