Are you a driven and skilled Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global construction consultancy? Peace Recruitment is assisting a globally renowned, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy client, in their search for a Quantity Surveyor/Senior QS to join their Yorkshire Quantity Surveying team. Our client has been extremely successful within a range of industry sectors, most recently with a focus on Education, Manufacturing, Residential and Commercial schemes. You will have the opportunity to be involved in delivering projects ranging anywhere between £500k - £30m. Responsibilities: Work within a team and provide the full range of Quantity Surveying duties from project inception through to completion. Ensure the quality and timeliness of service delivery to our clients, acting as primary interface to help build client confidence. Supporting the client’s procurement strategies. Site presence as required by specific project deliverables. Prepare Estimates/Cost Plans/Tender Documents/Tender Reports. Provide post contract Quantity Surveying services. Prepare data and reports to timescales in a format required by line management/clients. Assist in the mentoring and development of junior staff. Work collaboratively with other service teams to provide an integrated approach to client delivery. Managing client relationships and service delivery on a project specific basis, in conjunction with senior management. Requirements: Qualified with a BSc (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying. Chartered member of the RICS (or equivalent) or working towards qualification. Hold a good knowledge of local markets and experience of developing repeat client business Experience with public and/or private sector clients on major projects and a working knowledge of both JCT and NEC forms of contract.
