Your Job Quantitative Market Risk Analyst Our Team The Market Risk team of Koch Minerals & Trading (KM&T), a global commodity trading company covering Petroleum, Freight, Metals, Gas and Renewables, is looking for a Quantitative Market Risk Analyst who will play a leading role in the implementation of a new risk system and the delivery of its value to the organization. The Analyst will lead efforts to leverage the quantitative capability of the new system and collaboratively work across internal teams to build solutions so the Market Risk team can efficiently leverage risk, position, price, and performance data for daily reporting and analysis to improve risk adjusted decisions by the business and continue to evolve KM&T's risk management capability. What You Will Do • Key lead in the implementation of a new risk system with responsibilities including testing, configuration, documentation and becoming the expert on system functionality and capabilities • Ensure the risk system captures Market Risk's requirements. Bridge communication between the vendor, Market Risk IT and Market Risk. Build out test plans and collaborate with the team to ensure execution and validation of results • Collaborate with the Market Risk team to build tools to improve risk analysis and reporting (examples could include Va R, stress, scenario, performance) and support business needs • Provide solutions and improvement to market risk modelling challenges, including validating and implementing new modelling approaches • Build internal solutions for existing processes to ensure daily processes, reporting, and controls are efficient and meet the requirements of the market risk team and business teams • Own documentation of risk system modelling decisions and functionality and lead training for others in the organization on how to leverage and use the risk system • Leverage advanced modelling and scenario analysis capabilities of the risk system to improve market risk metrics used.
